Online Learning Support

You're Never Alone; Support is Just a Phone Call or Email Away.

UNPRECEDENTED SUPPORT

The University of Cincinnati's distance learning programs were created with working professionals in mind. We realize you will need many resources to help manage your career, your home life and the requirements of your degree. Upon entering the program you will discover the high levels of instruction and support available. For many students, these resources are a vital part of successfully completing their degree program.

UC offers seven levels of academic, technical and administrative support. At first you will work with your Enrollment Advisor, who guides you through the enrollment process. But the support will not end there. Once you begin the program, you will find tremendous support from the Course Faculty, Facilitator, Program Manager, fellow peers, e-learning Helpdesk support and student services. Each course that you take is set up so you interact with a small group of your peers, Faculty or a Facilitator. A university faculty member will deliver course instruction and oversee the course as a whole to ensure your overall success in the program.

Your UC support team includes the following:

  • Your Enrollment Advisor is assigned to assist you, answer your questions and guide you through the admissions process.
  • Your Course Faculty is responsible for the course design and ensuring that your learning needs are being met.
  • Your Facilitator is your guide for completing course assignments, achieving course learning objectives and participating in chat and other interactive sessions.
  • Your Program Manager is available to aid you with any registration, financial aid or administrative needs you may have.
  • Your Fellow Peers will be interacting with you regularly in your small learning group.
  • Your E-Learning Helpdesk Support is available to you should you have any problems with the course technology.
  • Student Services are only a phone call away should you ever need assistance.
  • The UC Online Library is available anytime, anywhere.
