Nurse Midwifery – Online
Nurse-midwives care for the essentially healthy woman throughout her life span, from menarche to menopause. A nurse-midwife has a full scope of the knowledge of women's care and applies that in the environment in which he or she works. Nurse-midwives also advise women throughout pregnancy, assist in the delivery of the child and provide continuing medical care to the woman and child after delivery.
A nurse-midwife can be an excellent alternative to an obstetrician because nurse-midwives are expertly trained in women's health issues surrounding all health care needs.
