Nurse-Midwifery preceptors must be one of the following (depending on the course the specific preceptor needed may change):
- Certified Nurse Midwife
- Some hours are allowed with an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, or MD/DO (GP, Internist, Subspecialist with outpatient practice) during the Primary Care Practicum.
- Some hours are allowed with an OB/GYN MD during the Nurse-Midwifery I & II Practicums.
