New nurse practitioner joins local practice

The Daily Democrat, a news outlet based in Woodland, California, has reported that Clariza Aguillon Doms has taken a position as a nurse practitioner at Woodland Healthcare, a local medical practice. Doms, who has earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree, will be working as a member of the internal medicine department.

Prior to taking this position, Doms attended nursing school at a California-based university. She has worked as a nurse practitioner at the Midtown Medical Center in Sacramento and the CommuniCare Heath Centers in Davis, California. According to the news source, Doms is highly regarded by her peers and is currently seeing new patients.

Woodland Healthcare, which is part of Woodland Memorial Hospital, is the largest healthcare provider in Yolo County. The center offers a variety of services, including community health education, emergency services and endocrinology. It is also home to The Family Birth Center, which is the only Level II intermediate care nursery in the area that offers access to certified nurse midwives. This practice has been serving the greater Sacramento area for more than 100 years.
